Subaru Corporation (FUJHY) had its IPO on 1996-11-18, and is traded on OTC stock exchange.
Subaru Corporation, an enterprise established in 1917 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is a global producer and vendor of automotive and aerospace goods. Its extensive operations are compartmentalized into three principal units: the Automotive Business Unit, the Aerospace Company, and a segment designated for Other Businesses. The company's core activities involve the fabrication, sale, and servicing of passenger vehicles and their constituent parts, along with aircraft and related aerospace machinery. Beyond manufacturing, Subaru also engages in managing and leasing real estate properties. Its broad portfolio further encompasses vehicle logistics, including shipping, land freight, and storage solutions; offering vehicle leasing and financial services; conducting thorough inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft; and providing IT system development and operational support. Initially recognized as Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the firm officially changed its corporate identity to Subaru Corporation in April 2017.
