NOTE: Some dividends may not be up-to-date around declaration/ex-dividend dates (usually between 5-10th of each months. We do our best to keep this data current.

NOTE 2: Some forward yield numbers might be “behind”, if latest stock/dividend data isn’t available yet.

Other High Yield Dividend / Income ETFs:

NEW: High Yield Income ETFs from Defiance, Roundhill, JP Morgan, KRUV, REX, etc – alternative (non-YieldMax) fands that are also popular with “income-seeking investors”.

NEW: YieldMax Daily Trades & Holdings archive – we created an archive of daily YieldMax funds activity, where you can download either daily trades or holdings for every YM fund. Archive gets updated daily at 5pm and 11pm, and goes back to June 2024.

YieldMax Funds Table Notes:

  • * 1Y / TTM Return is total return of share price + dividends collected.

So if you bought shares at $10, and their current price is $15, and you collected $5 in dividends over last 12 months, your “1Y Return” is 100% ($5 price appreciation + $5 in dividends collected).

  • * 1Y / TTM DRIP is similar to “1Y Return”, but implies (DRIP) reinvesting dividends on the Payout Date at Close Price of each fund on that day.
  • * 1Y / TTM CAGR is the share price return, without dividends or DRIP. If you bought shares at $10 1 year ago, and today they are $15, “1Y CAGR” is 50%.

Keep in mind, that most YieldMax funds are less than 1 year old, so 1Y returns and CAGR is calculates “since inception”.

YieldMax’s First ETF – TSLY

YieldMax Options Income ETFs (Funds) became very popular with investors after inception of their first ETF – TSLY (pronounced “Tesly”) in November 2022. After TSLY, YieldMax set up another 17 single-stock ETFs and 2 parent EFTs (YMAX & YMAG).

TSLY was YieldMax’s first single-stock ETF, which was released right before MASSIVE price drop in its underlying asset – TSLA, from a 2022 high of around $310 to a Jan. 2023 low of just above $100, resulting in massive drop in TSLY share price, from initial $20 to a low of around $13 in late December 2022, where it stayed for about a month.

Then as shares of TSLA started rallying in Feb 2023, so did price of TSLY. However, you don’t always capture the same upside percentage with TSLY, compared to the underlying asset.

What are YieldMax Options Income (Dividend) funds?

These are “very risky”, high-volatility income ETFs that track individual underlying assets, such as MSFT, NVDA, AMZN, etc. Most of the underlying assets are high Implied Volatility (IV), usually above 50%. This allows YieldMax funds to earn income, which they distribute to shareholders around the 10th of each months.

YieldMax ETF involve great degree of risk and capital loss. This page is for entertainment purposes only!

For example: As of early Feb 2024, TSLY is the largest YieldMax fund. However, with the decline of TSLA price this year, TSLY prices are hovering around all time lows.

Which gets us to how YieldMax funds earn income and pay “dividends”, often above 50% yield. In a nutshell, these fund sell weekly call options on synthetic shares of underlying assets. Funds don’t actually own the shares (like JEPI, QYLD, etc). YieldMax funds use “synthetic covered call strategy”. They buy at-the-money (ATM) call options and sell ATM put options with the same expiration date (usually couple of months out in the future), thus creating synthetic shares of underlying stock, for virtually no cost. Then they sell out of the money covered call options to generate income.

We will not discuss the risks involved in this strategy. However you should know that if underlying asset’s share price falls, the fund loses money, creating what is known as NAV (Net Asset Value) erosion, and have to spend money to cover (at a loss) they puts they sold (as well as other risks).

Another important aspect to keep in mind – ALL YieldMax individual stock ETFs have 0.99% fee or expense ratio. So for each $100 a fund earns, they keep $0.99

YieldMax also recently launched “parent ETFs” that hold individual YieldMax funds as portfolio – YMAX and YMAG

  • YMAX holds ALL YielddMax individual funds and has a 1.28% expense ratio.
  • YMAG holds the funds tracking Magnificent 7 stocks (TSLA, AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOG, META and AMZN), and also has a 1.28% expense ratio.

YMAX and YMAG ETFs are too new to list in our table, as they haven’t had a single dividend distribution yet. Once we have data on them, we will add them to our table of YieldMax ETFs. However YMAX’s and YMAG’s expected 1st dividend payment in Feb 2024, will be around 38-40% Forward Yield.

  1. If you’re going to charge people for a service keep the service up to date. Add fivy and feat to group A

  2. Leo DRIPCalc

    Hey,

Thanks for your input. 2 things…
    1) FEAT and FIVY are still not added by our data suppliers, and we did send them a request to add these tickers. Will be available soon.
    2) We don’t charge for access to this YieldMax page, or details on YM ETFs. Data that is behind paywall is earnings, revenue, EPS, estimates, etc, and non of YM funds have this data. So all YM funds info is free to view.

Like I said, we are working on having FEAT and FIVY in our system asap.

    Cheers

  3. Can I be put on a list that receives as printed the distribution amount for each etf group, A-D?

  4. I am trying to get on your email list that provides the distribution detail amount as printed for each group

  5. Leo DRIPCalc

Robert, you can subscribe to YM emails on their site here: https://www.yieldmaxetfs.com/contact-2/
By filling out that form, you will start receiving dividend announcements and new ETF emails.

We are not YIELDMAX – just a “fan website” … So you can’t sign up for their emails on our site.

    Cheers

  6. Apparently Yieldmax just opened another ETF yesterday.. QDTY… Would you be able to add that to the list even though it’s brand new.. Not even sure when the ex-date or payday date is just yet..

  7. christopher bond

My online brokerage list the payout amount around 12 pm day before ex date which means you have few hours to buy no including after hours trading.

  8. can we get a dark mode

  9. Leo DRIPCalc

    April 9, 2025 at 10:50 am

Not in the near future, as this is the first request like that. There would be a lot of coding involved and we don’t see the interest from users.

  10. Excellent information!

  11. I’m thinking of going heavily into some of these. Wondering why the “1Y DRIP” column in your chart has negative numbers. Is it something about the chart I just don’t understand?

  12. When clicking the Yield tab, the totals are all over the place with MSTY towards the bottom, like it’s not calculating correctly when placing them in order high to low, vice versa. That also happens with other columns..?

the JS library we use for sorting table is sort of defective and not supported…. it doesn’t see a difference between 100 10 and 1… they all begin with 1… so 🙁

there is nothing to do about it … almost nobody even knows this thing exists in the table and barely anyone uses it. So spending 10 hours to figure this out is just not worth it. I already tried for 3 hours – great unsuccess. Sorry, but most people just don’t need this feature …

I might add Copy to buffer, so you can port/paste to Excel / Google Sheets, and sort there. That is much easier than figuring out unsupported JS library.

  14. Can you please include MARO in the Yieldmax table above?

  15. Leo DRIPCalc

    Hey Rob,

What exactly should we fix about MARO? Please be specific.

    Cheers, Leo
